Brunswick ( /ˈbrʌnzwɨk/ or /ˈbrʌnswɨk/) is the largest city in Medina County, Ohio, United States. The population was 34,255 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Cleveland Metropolitan Area.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 12.6 square miles (33 km2), of which, 12.5 square miles (32 km2) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km2) of it (0.32%) is water.

As of the census[2] of 2010, there were 34,255 people, 11,883 households, and 9,280 families residing in the city. The population density was 2,662.3 people per square mile (1,028.0/km²). There were 12,251 housing units at an average density of 976.9 per square mile (377.2/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 95.50% White, 2.00% African American, 0.10% Native American, 1.30% Asian, 0.20% from other races, and 0.90% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.00% of the population.

There were 11,883 households out of which 39.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.3% were married couples living together, 9.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 21.9% were non-families. 17.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.79 and the average family size was 3.18.

In the city the population was spread out with 27.7% under the age of 18, 8.1% from 18 to 24, 32.7% from 25 to 44, 23.2% from 45 to 64, and 8.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 35 years. For every 100 females there were 96.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 94.4 males.

According to a 2009 estimate, the median income for a household in the city was $62,818, and the median income for a family was $72,057. Males had a median income of $53,160 versus $34,637 for females. The per capita income for the city was $26,603. About 4.9% of families and 6.2% of the population were below the poverty line, including 8.5% of those under age 18 and 4.5% of those age 65 or over.
